I can add as many different computers and drives to a single account so all my data can live in a central location. The application has been working for me very nicely. You can sign up if you use the download link below and we will both receive an additional free 1 GB of storage. And you can also feel free to refer as many friends as you like.

The general fail safe modes that do not suffer from this are Mono, Stereo, Direct and All channels as far as I can remember.
Onkyo support sent me a link on another issue before which was out of date and did not solve the issue. I replied again stating that fact and have not heard from them since.
The volume issue can be temporarily fixed by raising the volume and eventually the sub will pop and the sound level will come back at which point you can lower the volume back to how you had it until it happens again.
I'm not sure if this is a Samsung T.V or an Onkyo issue because this never happened on my previous Sony KDL-W5500. In fact the Sony T.V more or less worked flawlessly with it which would point the finger at Samsung however it's cheaper to replace the A/V than it is to replace the gorgeous T.V
If I started again I would not buy the TX-SR508 or possibily an Onkyo branded receiver again because there are more established A/V manufacturers than Onkyo however Samsung are one or the industry leading T.V panel manufacturers currently.

It has the volume problem as well but only watching things in certain codec / listening modes. I have a 65” D8000 version and it is fantastic. The thin bezel makes the picture look as if it is floating on my wall! Since the TV can connect to the internet, I am able to go on Facebook and YouTube… which makes it even harder to get out of bed on my day off. The sound and picture are perfect though, especially with my subscription to DISH Network HD. Many of my providers in the past had HD, but not like DISH. Even if I wasn’t working for them, I would be a subscriber. Their HD is perfect for the TV, and the TV is perfect for me! There are many different TV’s you can choose from, but none are as beautiful as Samsung TV’s!

I say if you’re going to get a TV, try to get the biggest and best. It seems the company has not enforced it's own T&C and have finally decided to do so.
Fortunately as of now I still haven't been charged for the dormant tag which I used at the crossing after receiving the letter. My plan is to switch between the 2 tags I have to keep them active because 1 of them isn't used as much as the other but handy to have.
Ian, I wish you luck and please do keep us up-to-date with your case.

isPermaLink="false">http://www.dannytsang.co.uk/?p=3759#comment-2955

Same here, over 7 years ago, sent a letter (fortunately to my parents address still).
My reply:
Dear Sirs,
With reference to your letter regarding Tag ******, please note that this was returned to you via Royal Mail postal service in March 2004. Sadly I am not able to recollect which postal box I used to return the item given that it was so long ago.
Whilst I fully understand that you would wish to recover any costs you feel are due I would like to highlight that at no point prior to this date have I been contacted and given that we are in excess of 7 years on from that point I had assumed it be received by yourselves.
I look forward to your early comments on this matter.
Their reply?...
We have extremely robust and audited processes and procedures for dealing with DART-Tags that are received in our office from any source (i.e, post, courier or handed in at the Customer Centre). Our first action is to test the DART-Tag to check if it is registered to an account. If it is, then it is deleted from that account before it is sent for cleaning and re-use. It’s impossible to re-use a tag if it is still registered to an account in our system. A further check is made on tags that are not suitable for re-use before being sent back to the manufacturer for recycling.
Under the terms and conditions you agreed to for this account you are responsible for the safe return of the DART-Tags if you no longer need them. If one of our Customers does not receive a DART-Tag that we send to them we accept this and pursue the loss with our couriers. In the circumstances you may have a claim against the courier you used to send the DART-Tags to us.
Although you advise us that you have returned the DART-Tag we have not received them in our office. We therefore have no alternative but to mark this as “lost” from your account and make a charge of £15.00 + VAT at the current rate.
We regret we are unable to enter into further correspondence regarding this matter.
My solicitor has written to them so I await the pathetic reply.

Same here, over 7 years ago, sent a letter (fortunately to my parents address still).

My reply:

Dear Sirs,

With reference to your letter regarding Tag ******, please note that this was returned to you via Royal Mail postal service in March 2004. you want the -d1 option
check the current status with hdparm -I /dev/sda (that is a capital i) ... all values with are enable, check in the DMA which one is enabled.

hdparm -tT /dev/sda will only test the buffered and unbuffered read speed, it will NOT enable the DMA

you want the -d1 option

check the current status with hdparm -I /dev/sda (that is a capital i) … all values with are enable, check in the DMA which one is enabled.

Comment on Removing Files With – by higuita

<guid
