Windows 7 Sleep & Wakes Up Unexpectedly / Instantly

I had a problem with my system where I put it to sleep and it would wake up for no reason. I found an article where if you turn off the option “Allow this device to wake the computer” for the network card(s) should stop this from happening.

This method did work however my system failed to come back to life and I had to restart it manually.
